Overview
This Intro to Clinical Pilates course equips you with the skills to safely begin exploring Pilates in your clinical practice. You'll learn the principles of Pilates, basic Pilates exercises, and how to use Pilates and movement as a treatment framework.
Learning Objectives
In this online course, you will learn:
- The difference between Pilates, clinical Pilates, and Pilates for rehab
- Scope of practice guidelines for clinical Pilates
- Guiding principles for using Pilates and movement as therapy
- How to safely use Pilates equipment - the reformer, the trapeze table, and the wunda chair
- Basic pre-Pilates and Pilates equipment exercises

A physiotherapist and clinical Pilates educator for more than 20 years, Kobi recognized the power of movement early in her career. Curious, compassionate and pragmatic, Kobi is driven to help her patients and students feel more confident working with movement.
Kobi draws on the latest anatomy and biomechanics research to fine-tune all workshops and courses she delivers through Calibrate.
