Recent studies estimate that over 85% of the population has experienced some form of trauma at some point.  As a service provider or health practitioner, it is imperative to understand the impact of trauma on your therapeutic interactions.

This webinar will provide healthcare practitioners with the opportunity to learn about the basics of trauma-informed care, ask questions and discuss with others.

Learning Objectives

In this live webinar with Louise Anne, an experienced social worker and case manager, you will:
  1. Learn about the elements of trauma as a collective and as an individual 

  2. Appreciate the crucial role of the nervous system

  3. Understand the importance of self-awareness - recognition of activation, responses and options

  4. Gain important practical applications, including how co-regulation, basic elements of safety, trustworthiness and transparency, translate into your work

  5. Learn about moving forward in empowerment


Healthcare practitioners, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and social workers, and anyone whose clients have experienced trauma such as lawyers and other medical staff.
