PT-Together Free Webinar: Episode 4

Mar 27, 2020 - 14:00 (EDT)
1 hour

With the WHO’s formal declaration of COVID-19 as a pandemic, we understand that this is a very challenging time for you, your staff and your patients. The number of confirmed global COVID-19 cases has topped 168,000 (World Health Organization, March 16, 2020). Globally, healthcare systems are working to contain local infection control and disease management, particularly for our most vulnerable people.

The effects of the outbreak are being felt across all industries and in the private sector, including private physiotherapy and healthcare practices, there will be a significant financial strain placed on small businesses.

On Friday March 27 at 2pm EST we will be hosting our fourth free online event where you can learn from leaders who have worked through challenging environments. We've asked trusted colleagues and leaders including Dave Walton, Jerry Durham, Tanja Yardley, and Josh Williams, to share their insights and guidance about how to navigate tough times.

None of us have faced a situation quite like this before, but we can try to learn from experience and support each other. This event will provide a time for all of us to meet, learn, and grow together.

This is the start of how we'll continue building our great community online together. We hope you will join us. #PTTogether

Please note: You must be logged into your Embodia account in order to register for this webinar. This webinar is limited to the first 500 clinicians who sign up.

Tanja Yardley

Experienced Entrepreneur, Leadership and Innovation Coach. I know my personal mission is being fulfilled when I see my clients light up from the inside, sparked by a game-changing idea and confident that they can attain clarity, create connections and manifest the resources to bring it to fruition. I see it when their eyes light up; when they start becoming more animated and engaged; when they lean in with a willingness to explore, expand and challenge themselves. The intersection that connects passion and purpose is where I want to be, working as a catalyst and connector for people who harness their talents and networks for positive social impact.

Former Vice President of Outpatient Services for CBI Health Group in British Columbia and past co-owner of Rehabilitation in Motion, Pro-Motion Consulting Ltd. (Multimedia Training Resources) and Ergonomics in Motion (Occupational Health and Safety Consulting).

Jerry Durham
PT

Jerry Durham helps Physical Therapy Practice owners engage patients for great results. Following graduation from Physical Therapy school, Jerry practiced in a variety of settings, inpatient and outpatient, from small independent clinics to large hospitals and from the very beginning, Jerry questioned why there wasn’t an emphasis placed on treating patients as individuals, with unique concerns and objectives and why more effort wasn’t being made to develop true relationships with patients.

Jerry’s experiences in these settings fueled his drive to prove that you can increase arrivals, decrease no shows and cancellations and achieve great results all through the relationship between your clinic and your patients.
