Introduction

Welcome!

I am so excited ot bring the Self-Compassion for Healthcare Communities course to my fellow healthcare professionals. 

The MIndful Self-Compassion course was imperative in my recovery from burnout and this version was adapted to take into consideration the time constarints we face as busy healthcare professionals. 

While self-care happens off the job, self-compassion is a skill that we can use on the job to help buffer the traumas to which we bear witness everyday. 

While it will not directly fix the broken system in which we work, it may give us skills to rebuild what was broken within in us.
