Embodia Academy is a marketplace and practitioners can scroll through the library of courses that are listed or use the search functionalities:

Embodia Academy

Searching for Courses

Practitioners can search through Embodia Academy using four different search strategies:

  1. Areas of Interest
  2. Instructor Name
  3. Price: Min-Max
  4. Key Word and general search bar

Let's take a look at each of these search options.

Embodia Academy

1. Areas of Interest

Courses on Embodia are categorized based on Areas of Interest, such as Pelvic Health, Orthopaedics, and Pain Sciences.

Practitioners can select an area of interest from the drop-down menu and all of the courses labelled with that area of interest will appear in their search. If you feel your course does not fit into any of these areas, please let us know.

Embodia will make the final decision about which areas of interest are most appropriate for your course to ensure it comes up in the correct search results. It is not beneficial to be listed in every area of interest. It clutters up other categories and makes it more difficult for people to find what they are looking for.

2. Instructor

Each instructor is listed in the drop-down menu and any course they are associated with will appear when their name is searched.

3. Price

Practitioners can enter a minimum and maximum price to filter courses in the Embodia Academy. Setting both the Min and Max price to $0 will create a list of all the free courses available.

4. General Search Bar

The general search bar can be used in a similar way to searching on Google; simply enter a term into the search bar. The search bar will recognize any words in the title of your course or course info page.
